Mining

A modern mine is a fleet of computers that move. Autonomous haul trucks navigate on corrected satellite positioning, dispatch and telemetry ride private LTE, and the whole operation answers to a remote operations centre a thousand kilometres away. Degrade the positioning signal and the fleet pulls up and stops. The safety systems do exactly what they should, and production halts by design. A jammed dispatch link, a spoofed timing source, or an unauthorised transmitter in the pit produces the same result: hours lost, measured in tonnes, with no way to say whether it was a fault, a misconfigured radio, or an attack.
PlatypOS watches the spectrum the automation depends on. Every transmitter across the estate is detected, identified, and located — the phone inside a blast exclusion zone, the rogue Wi-Fi hotspot in the pit, the radio that is not on the site plan, the drone overhead. Interference is traced to its source before it forces a shutdown. One live picture runs from pit to port, feeding the remote operations centre you already run, with logged, timestamped records for incident investigation.
